About this project

Recently, I have encountered many things. The most urgent thing is that I have to complete my graduation thesis, which leads to the absence of many courses. Thankfully, Sheri understands and let me do a very simple Final project.

Regarding this project, I use a dog’s dream to express that everyone wants to go out. Recently, when I went out to buy, other people in the supermarket and I chose to wear masks, which is one of the ways to protect everyone. Of course, a picture of a dog wearing a mask can reflect this more gently.

In the end, I still want to tell everyone to stay healthy and be optimistic. No hatred and help others.

A tragic week.
Everything has been bad this week. Last Friday, I was having a happy zoom meeting but the entire house was disconnected from the Internet. On weekends, I was well protected and went to the supermarket to buy things, but the most important thing was out of stock.

Final project.

As the epidemic became more severe, everyone was isolated at home, and being able to go out for pizza became a strong desire for me.

Just right, I have time to learn by myself. I chose to study website development. I made a fake Pizza Hut website for entertain myself.

Here are some screenshots of my website. I used the framework called vue.js to build my website. This is a very convenient framework that can dynamically display web pages. It’s a pity that my webpage can’t adapt to computer and mobile phone access at the same time, so I blocked mobile phone access.

This is a very ironic logo design.Neither color nor text is a good logo. Just for fun!

The original design of this logo was to protect the Bay Area by reducing the use of plastic tableware. I hope to reflect the idea of ​​protecting the Bay Area through San Francisco’s coastline. I used two different blues as the main color of the logo.

Sergio Maltagliati

Sergio Maltagliati (born 1960 in Pescia, Italy) is an Italian Internet-based artist, composer, and visual-digital artist. His first musical experiences with the Gialdino Gialdini Musical Band in early 70s. Sergio Maltagliati an artist from Florence Italy; studied music at the Conservatory “Luigi Cherubini” in Florence, then he began to paint. Thus creating a new method of writing music where the score becomes a visual composition. 

This artist let me know that music can also be expressed in art. The form of art has no boundaries. I was inspired by him and will continue to explore other skills I have. Continue to integrate innovation and develop new and different works of art.

Manfred Mohr

Manfred Mohr (June 8, 1938 in Pforzheim Germany) is a German artist considered to be a pioneer in the field of digital art. He has lived and worked in New York since 1981.

His early computer works are algorithmic and based on his former drawings with a strong attitude on rhythm and repetition. His art works make me feel very novel. I often use computer programming to solve some problems, but I never thought about using algorithms to implement art works. In his works, I easily see the shadow of computer algorithms. This is very interesting to me, I will definitely try it myself and find the mode I like.

RULE SIX: Nothing is a mistake. There’s no win and no fail, there’s only make.

I agree with this rule, which reminds me of a Chinese saying. ‘胜不骄，败不馁’, which means ‘neither to become dizzy with success, nor be discouraged by failure’. I chose it because this rule gave me a wake-up call because I didn’t keep improving. I’ve learned some Photoshop techniques, so I think that class was simple, so I was not very serious. This attitude is wrong, I will continue to ‘make‘.

RULE NINE: Be happy whenever you can manage it. Enjoy yourself. It’s lighter than you think.

I disagree with this rule, and I don’t like it either. My time management is terrible, but I always think I can manage my time. I alwasy ‘happy’ at the beginning and ‘panic’ at the end. I have made up my mind to change myself, and I don’t like this rule.
I think, don’t believe your own instincts, just believe the facts.
